Welcome to the Double Edge Theatre Alumni Forum! This forum was created so that we can create connections and share our resources online, so that we may also do so offline. It is run by alumni Julie Becker, Jon Bremner, and Bob Stachel.
Please fill out your profile with your info, how we can contact you, if you have a personal website, or anything else to connect us all better.
There are many ways to use this forum!
Locations category: Here you can connect with Double Edge alumni in your area to share and ask for resources, train together, or meet up socially. It is also for those seeking connections with alumni abroad.
In the General category we have:
Introductions: Write a bit about yourself here so we can get to know each other and see who is using the board.
Double Edge Theatre Happenings: For Double Edge company members to post about upcoming events, and for others to ask and connect with Double Edge.
What Are You Doing?: We want to know! Post about your show, other project, or whatever else you're up to.
Share Your Research: A way to share resources online such as training music, images, and other research materials.
General Desires: If you have or need something that doesn't fit anywhere else, post about it here.
Jobs: For job seekers and job seeker-seekers. Post resumes and headshots, job descriptions, and more.
Calendar: Towards the top of the main page you will see a link to our Calendar. This is for everyone to post about upcoming show dates and events, as well as for Double Edge members to post upcoming events on The Farm and on tour.
A couple of forum guidelines...
- Though attachments are allowed on this message board, it is limited, and I recommend that you host images and video elsewhere if you can and just provide links in your post rather than uploading.
- If copyrighted material is shared (music, video, etc) please do not use for commercial use.
- Message me or Jon Bremner (jonbremner) if there is a location you are familiar with or are interested in that is missing from the Locations category, and one of us will add a new subforum for it. Same if there is anything else you'd like to see added; we are open to suggestions!
- If there is a technical problem with this forum/if the site goes down, please contact Bob Stachel (bobstachel).
- If there are any questions about how to use the forum, or if you're not sure where you should post something, send me or Jon Bremner (jonbremner) a message about it.
Thank you all!
-Julie
